Liuhe consist of 外三合 external three harmonies (or linkings): shoulders link to kua/hips, elbows link with knees, and hands link with feet. Then there are the 內三合 internal three harmonies: heart links with intent, intent links with Qi, and Qi links with power. When the six is in harmony together, one can express total alignment in movements and energy delivery.
